Many companies have the best of intentions to help those in their care with every aspect of their day to day lives, this includes helping them find and retain employment. While a noble intention, with so many balls up in the air, a few are sure to drop! We knew there was a better way and thus Ignite Employment was born! Meet the Team
Nicholas Harris
Co-Founder & CEO
Nicholas started Ignite with a passion and mission that was near and dear to his heart. He sought to help and give back to a cause that helped him many years ago. Nick was the benefactor of some awesome help and mentorship and used his experience with Vocational Rehab to go on to earn a college degree and launch a successful career in a number of different areas and industries. He’s never forgotten the gratitude he has for this program.
Nick knows the power of what having the right team in your corner can mean to someone. With this great experience in his mind, Nick co-launched Ignite Employment Services with his best friend, in hopes that he could give back and help others in a way that he was helped long ago. Nicholas has worked with individuals with disabilities for over 10 years now: he’s been a caretaker, a mentor, a friend, and his passion now is being a partner to our clients and helping them find a job that they can not only enjoy but be proud of! Nick has a passion to help people in any capacity, and he is very excited to help Ignite become a company that thinks outside the box and one that can deliver a positive employment experience for any client, anywhere.
When Nick is not working, he loves to spend time with his family. He has a great passion for the Ocean and loves to visit his beloved Hawaii whenever he can. His hobbies include sports, weightlifting, traveling, and volunteering his time coaching youth sports and giving back to his local community through serving those in need.
